- The centres of excellence COE Guidelines.pdf
- A model UG CBCS syllabus for universities and colleges in Odisha in 28 subjects with new skill courses and training/laboratory requirements. These model courses were not only crafted by Combined boards of studies with members from all universities, but also, were reviewed by external reviewers. Whose suggestions were then incorporated wherever possible.
- Introducing examination reforms at UG Level and the regulation change along with the new courses. The aim of the examination reforms is to assess student outcome from these new courses.
- The council conceptualised an incentiviation scheme for upgrading research and innovation in state universities and government /aided colleges through 1, young faculty (below 45 years) seed research funding 2. Introduction of State JRF scheme for net cleared candidates who would be willing to work in State Universities 3. Support for Top tier publications 4. Annual Scholar’s colloquium in science, social science and commerce schemes
